How to leave Zentoko.
Real offboarding is a sales advantage, not a back-room process. We make it easy to leave so you don't have to think about whether you can. The policy below is binding, and we published it before we charge our first dollar.
One-click data export
Every brand can download a complete archive at any time: a JSON dump of every record (posts, blogs, subscribers, contact submissions, audit logs), all generated images and videos as direct files, your brand DNA as readable markdown. No support ticket, no waiting period.
Domain stays yours
If you registered a domain through Zentoko, one click gets you the auth code to transfer to any registrar. If your domain was on Zentoko-managed DNS, you get the full zone file and clear instructions to point nameservers elsewhere. Zero lock-in.
Email infrastructure travels with you
Domain identities (DKIM keys) live in your DNS, so you own them. Take your SES setup and keep sending, or migrate to any provider. Inbound replies still thread for 60 days after closure so no in-flight conversation drops.
Audience leaves with you
Newsletter subscribers, contact submissions, lead-magnet records: all yours, all exportable as CSV / JSON / mbox. Format-mapping guides included for common destinations (Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout).
30-day soft delete + restore
Closing your account starts a 30-day grace window. Change your mind? One click restores everything. After 30 days the data is hard-deleted (GDPR-aligned). No surprise invoices, no zombie accounts.
Integrations under your control
OAuth tokens for Meta, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. were always yours. Zentoko revokes its access on close, and you re-authorize wherever you go next. We surface a checklist so nothing's missed.
The actual process
Three clicks. About fifteen minutes from decision to data in hand.
- 1Click 'Export my data'
Settings → Close Brand. Background job assembles a ZIP, link emailed when ready (~5 min for typical brands).
- 2Handoff your domain
If registered through Zentoko: one-click auth code retrieval. If brought-in: zone file export + transfer instructions.
- 3Confirm closure
30-day grace period begins. Cancel anytime during that window to restore. After 30 days, hard delete is irreversible.

Most platforms make offboarding deliberately painful, betting you'll stay because leaving is a hassle. We'd rather earn the renewal. Publishing the offboarding policy before the first paying customer signs up means the commitment is real, not aspirational. Anyone can hold us to it.
If anything in this policy isn't honored when you actually try to leave, that's a bug. Report it and we'll fix it the same day.
